ATLP was organized in 1929 as the bar association of the former Interstate Commerce Commission. Through the years, the association has evolved to include all practitioners in the transportation law profession, covering all modes. It includes practicing transportation attorneys, government officials, in-house company counsel involved in transportation, industry practitioners, and others.

  • The Club is located in Chicago's Loop, providing easy access via subway, cab, shuttle, or Uber.
  • The Union League Club of Chicago is conveniently located between two major subway rail lines that directly service both Chicago O’Hare Airport and Midway Airport. From Midway Airport: $2.50 one way via the Orange Line; walk one block north on State St, turn left and walk two blocks to 65 W. Jackson Blvd. From O’Hare Airport: $5.00 one way via the Blue Line; walk one block west to 65 W. Jackson Blvd. ULC offers both Valet and Self Parking.
  • Airports: Chicago Midway International Airport is about 18 minutes away, and approximately a $40.00 Uber Ride, or Chicago O'Hare International Airport, is about 29 minutes away.
Dress Code Policy
The Union League Club is an elegant experience.  All club guests are asked to dress appropriately. 

A relaxed, well-dressed look described as ‘Smart Casual’ is welcomed throughout the club. Smart Casual may include jeans, denim, and collarless shirts. Smart Casual attire or better is permitted throughout the Clubhouse with the following exception: In the Wigwam, during lunch and evening meals, the expected attire is Business Casual or better. (Business Casual includes collared shirts, turtlenecks, slacks, or skirts with blouses or sweaters. Dress denim is not considered Business Casual.)
